Never take your word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws. - Psalm 119:43
Described as more precious than thousands of pieces of silver or gold (Psalm 119:72), sweeter than honey on the mouth (Psalm 119:103), God’s unchanging word is still our hope today. When read in context and applied correctly, it brings transformation in a believer’s life.
The Bible is a collection written by prophets inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:20-21) over various time periods.
God’s word illustrates the fall of humanity into sin and the great lengths God went to restore His people back into relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. It is a narrative of hope and redemption and reveals the character and love of God. It reveals the desires of God and points us to the eternal hope we have after we leave this world.

- Enduring forever
- For, “All people are like grass,
and all their glory is like the flowers of the field;
the grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of the Lord endures forever. – 1 Peter 1:24-25
- For, “All people are like grass,
- Food for the hungry soul
- As Jesus was being tempted in the wilderness by the devil and the devil asked him to turn the stones into bread to feed his hunger, Jesus spoke these words:
- Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” – Matthew 4:4
- As Jesus was being tempted in the wilderness by the devil and the devil asked him to turn the stones into bread to feed his hunger, Jesus spoke these words:
