We seek love from everywhere around us.
From family, friends, spouse, boyfriend/girlfriend, and society.
What is love?
True love is unconditional. It’s not “I love you if..” or I love you when..”, but rather just “I love you”.
No strings, No conditions.
We look everywhere for that type of love, but forget to look at the first place where we are shown that love.
When we know that we are loved by God unconditionally, we begin to see value in our lives and seek to love others authentically and sacrificially like Him.
God showed us His love through His ultimate sacrifice. He gave up his perfect and only son, so we would have life.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” -John 3:16.
Love shows sacrifice and patience.
Not only in His sacrifice, but God continues to show us his steadfast love (Psalm 100:5) day after day. Even on our worst or best days, His love is constant.
